Privacy Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Airfive, Inc., doing business as ResumAid (“ResumAid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit https://resumaid.ai or use our resume-building and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

This Policy applies to visitors, account holders, and anyone whose information is submitted to the Services. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in or claim a resume, we collect your email address. We use passwordless email sign-in, so we do not store a password for you.

Content you submit. This includes uploaded resume files (such as PDF or Word documents), text you type into forms, answers to follow-up questions, job descriptions or job posting links, your website, and other links or source material you ask us to analyze. Uploaded files may contain career history, education, contact details, and anything else you include in them.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We receive confirmation of your purchase, the plan or product bought, and limited transaction details. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number; card details are handled directly by the processor under its own privacy policy.

Usage and device information. We automatically collect information about how the Services are used, including pages visited, features used, approximate timestamps, referring pages, IP address, browser and device characteristics, and similar diagnostic data. We use IP addresses in part to enforce free-use limits and prevent fraud and abuse.

Generated content. We store the resumes, match assessments, and related output the Services generate for you so you can view your history and so we can operate and improve the Services.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the Services, including analyzing your materials and generating resumes; create and maintain your account and resume history; process payments and manage plans; enforce free-use, plan, and abuse limits; communicate with you about your account, purchases, and service updates; monitor, secure, and debug the Services; understand usage and improve the product; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded resumes or generated content to advertise to you or to build profiles for third-party advertisers.

4. AI processing

To generate resumes and assessments, the materials you submit (including uploaded files and content retrieved from links you provide) are processed by automated systems, including third-party artificial intelligence providers acting on our behalf. These providers process your content only to deliver the requested output, under their applicable agreements.

AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review all generated content before using it, as described in our Terms of Service.

5. How we share information

Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us run the Services, including hosting and database providers, authentication providers, AI processing providers, payment processors, and analytics or error-monitoring tools. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ResumAid, our users, or others, including for fraud and abuse prevention.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent parts of the Services (such as sign-in) from working.

7. Data retention and storage

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, enforce limits, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Uploaded files and generated resumes may be deleted after account closure, prolonged inactivity, or expiration of applicable retention periods.

You should keep your own copy of every important resume. We do not promise permanent storage. Information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your place of residence.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You may access your past resumes through your account, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the contact method made available on the Site. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information we hold, the right to deletion, the right to correct inaccuracies, the right to opt out of certain processing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Third-party links and services

The Services may access or link to third-party websites and services at your request (for example, a job posting or your personal website). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and their own policies govern your interactions with them.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting the updated Policy with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

13. Contact

Questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or your personal information may be submitted through the contact method made available at https://resumaid.ai.
